Packet Planet — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Packet Planet ("the game", "the app") is a single-player strategy game published by Mgr. Hana Rajdlova ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the iOS and iPadOS app distributed on the Apple App Store under the bundle identifier com.hara.data-center-game.

The short version: the game has no accounts, asks for no personal details, shows no ads, does not track you across other apps or websites, and sends us nothing at all. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, and no server of ours for the game to talk to. The only network connection it makes is to Apple, to sell or restore the one in-app purchase.

What we collect

Collected on your device and never sent anywhere

The following is stored locally using the operating system's standard app preference storage. It stays on your device, is included in your device backups if you have those enabled, and is deleted when you delete the app. We cannot see it.

Nothing is sent to us

The app collects nothing and uploads nothing. There is no analytics, no anonymous installation identifier, no crash or error reporting, and no first-run data-use question — there is nothing to ask about. An earlier build of the game (never released) did send anonymous gameplay statistics after asking permission; if your device still holds that answer from a beta, the app deletes it the next time you open the game.

Purchases

Packet Planet offers one non-consumable in-app purchase, the Full Game unlock. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple tells the app only whether the product is owned. Apple's own handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

The purchase supports Family Sharing, so one purchase covers your Apple family group.

What we do not do

Why we collect it

Purpose Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR)
Delivering and restoring your purchase Performance of a contract

That is the whole table, because the purchase is the only thing that involves anyone other than you and your device.

Who processes it, and where

Nobody processes anything on our behalf. We operate no server and use no analytics, advertising, attribution, or social SDK.

Apple processes purchase transactions as an independent controller.

How long it is kept

We hold nothing, so there is nothing for us to keep. Locally stored data lives on your device until you delete it or delete the app.

Your choices and rights

Delete everything stored locally by deleting the app from your device. This removes your settings, records, saved run, and cached purchase flag. Your purchase is not lost — reinstall and use Restore Purchases in Settings.

There is nothing to opt out of. The game is fully playable offline, and nothing in it requires a network connection except making or restoring a purchase.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to give you a copy of or delete. If you have a question about this, contact us at hara.applications@gmail.com.

Children

Packet Planet is not directed at children under 13, is not submitted to the App Store Kids Category, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hara.applications@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the game collects, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes for the version that makes the change.
